We had two fantastic GAA matches in the last week.
Firstly, our girls GAA side took on Our Lady of Victories from Ballymun.
Our girls were narrowly defeated in a hugely competitive game. A strong team performance was illuminated by the performances of Ella Banikole, Jodie Grove and Kasey Barrett Doyle.
Secondly, our boys GAA side took on local rivals St. Fergals.
In a game that ebbed and flowed we scored a late point to secure a well-earned draw. A battling team performance was led by Artiom Travkin in goal, Leon McLaren and Ben O Hara in defence and Rhys Boyd and Jayden Paget up front.
St Malachy’s choir visited Ardmore Nursing home on Wednesday to sing Christmas carols and chat to the residents. We received a warm welcome from the residents and really enjoyed our visit.
