Retirement of Ms. Mc Grath, Ms. Mc Cormack, Ms. Burke

In the last week we have had to say goodbye to two legendary figures in our school Ms Burke and Ms McCormack.  We also said goodbye to Ms. Mc Grath in June.
With a nearly combined 120 years service in the school of St Malachys we have been lucky to have three such stalwarts.
Their commitment to the school is illuminated in that all travelled long distances to get to Finglas South each morning.
As well as the current group of the children they have taught many parents, Aunties Uncles, cousins ,friends and even some Grandparents.
Their names are synonymous with St Malachys.
As a staff we have lost three of the most finest colleagues and three of the most finest of people.
Enjoy your retirement ladies you have certainly earned it.

Science Week 2020

Great fun was had in St. Malachys this week with the fun experiments kindly organised by Ms. Sherlock, Ms. Mc Nulty and Ms Carmichael.  The theme this year was sustainability

We made e-cars, examined germs on spuds, looked at sustainable homes – to name a few!

Christmas Fun in Room 4

Room 4 had a lot of fun on their last day of school before the Christmas holidays. They have worked so hard this term and earned themselves a treat which was a lovely hot chocolate party to get us all in the Christmas spirit.

We also had great fun during the Christmas Raffle. Everyone was delighted with their prizes. Thanks to Paula and all our staff for organizing a great raffle.

Happy Christmas from all in Ms. Brennan’s Room 4.
