The 6th class boys and girls went to the Finglas Garda Open Day in the Finglas Garda Station. We were entertained by the Garda Band. We got to see one of the Garda horses, we even sat in an Garda car and turned on the VERY LOUD siren!!, some of us were lucky enough to sit on a Garda motorbike! There was a representative from Dublin Bus who informed us of the importance of this service in our community and how anti-social behaviour can harm the bus driver and the passengers on the bus.
We are very grateful for the services the Finglas Guards provide to our area to ensure we live a happy and peaceful life.
